Manchester United caretaker coach Michael Carrick has confirmed he still hasn’t spoken to Ralf Rangnick, with the German’s work permit application still being processed.
It means that Carrick is likely to be the one setting out the game plan for tomorrow’s match against Arsenal at Old Trafford, which won’t be ideal.
The Gunners head into the game off the back of a 2-0 win against Newcastle but they did lose 4-0 to Liverpool in their last away game so this match is a difficult one to call.
With regards to the teams, Luke Shaw (concussion) and Edinson Cavani (tendon) are doubts while Raphael Varane (hamstring) and Paul Pogba (thigh) have been ruled out. Harry Maguire will return after serving a one-match ban.
