Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is reportedly keen on reuniting with Timo Werner.
The Chelsea forward was signed by Rangnick for RB Leipzig five and a half years ago and the United boss has been a key figure in the German international’s career.
However, since arriving in England, Werner has flattered to deceive, with a pretty mediocre scoring record at Chelsea, and supporters on Twitter are (to put it mildly) not keen on the 25-year-old moving to Old Trafford:

Werner has not been a successful signing for Chelsea at all and, while it is unsurprising that Rangnick is looking to work with players he knows, this transfer rumour does seem to be rather speculative.
It’s unlikely that Chelsea would let Werner leave for another Premier League club, while the fact that Rangnick is only in charge until the summer suggests he won’t have that much influence on recruitment anyway.
