Rangers have announced that KV Oostende striker Fashion Sakala has signed a pre-contract agreement ahead of a free transfer move to Ibrox in the summer.
The Zambian international has been heavily linked with the Light Blues for a number of months, and supporters on Twitter are very happy that the deal has now been finalised:

Double figures in a decent league. Free signing. Good age. Exactly the type of player we should be looking at.

Sakala has had a pretty decent season for Oostende, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in 30 appearances for the Belgian Pro League outfit.
His signing does suggest that another striker could well be leaving the Gers this summer, with the favourite being Jermain Defoe, whose contract expires at the end of this month.
The 38-year-old got his first Old Firm goal at the weekend, but he may not be involved in another derby by the looks of things. It will be hoped that Sakala has the ability to fill the boots of the English veteran.
