Rangers Join West Ham And Burnley In Race To Sign 26 Year Old Midfield General

Rangers are interested in signing Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram, according to reports in the UK.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard has stated he is keen on adding another body to his engine room, and it looks as though the Blades midfield general is a name being considered by the Scottish club.

Lundstram was a prominent figure for the Blades in their first season back in the top flight of English football but the 26-year-old has just one year left on his contract and could be sold for the right price.

Chris Wilder’s side have offered a new deal to the player but the midfielder is reportedly worried about a lack of game time, following the arrival of Sander Berge in January, leading him to consider a departure from Bramall Lane.

Rangers won’t be the only team keen on snapping up Lundstram, though, with both West Ham and Burnley also believed to be interested.
