Liverpool winger Mo Salah says he has a “normal” relationship with manager Jurgen Klopp; much like any other player in the Reds squad.
In a wide-ranging interview with Spanish newspaper Marca, the Egyptian international appeared reluctant to praise Klopp, despite the German having helped guide him to new heights since he joined the Merseyside club:
“It’s a normal relationship between two professionals. That’s how I’d describe it.”
Whether something has been lost in translation, it isn’t known, but if Salah did make these comments, supporters on Twitter believe the 28-year-old could be set to leave Anfield:
Yikes

This is Salah’s second interview with a Spanish publication in the space of a few months and his decision to speak out in such a manner can be interpreted in one of two ways.
The Egyptian could be genuinely angling for a move to Real Madrid, or he could be putting pressure on Liverpool to hand him a new contract. His current deal with the Premier League champions expires in 2023 and negotiations over an extension are likely to be held soon.
