Celtic boss Neil Lennon has been handed the Scottish FA Manager of the Year award, after the Hoops’ sealed a league and cup double under his stewardship this season.
The Irishman took over under difficult circumstances when Brendan Rodgers left for Leicester midseason during the 2018/19 campaign, but he steadied the ship and guided the team to another treble.
This season, he helped the Hoops to a Betfred Cup Final victory in December before establishing a thirteen point gap ahead of Rangers which sealed the club’s ninth league title in a row. Supporters on Twitter feel the award is well deserved:

There were many fans who were doubting Lennon when he was first appointed, with some feeling it was a conservative, safe option.
However, rather than regressing, the 48-year-old has built on what came before, making progress in Europe and maintaining the grip the club have over their Old Firm rivals as well as Scottish football in general.
