Celtic winger Jota scored and provided an assist as the Hoops secured a 2-0 win against Ross County, helping to maintain their six-point advantage at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
The Portuguese Under 21 international had been struggling for form in recent weeks but he was very much back to his best at Victoria Park yesterday. He wasn’t just involved in the goals, with the forward playing a vital role in the final third with four key passes during the match.
Supporters on Twitter were quick to praise Jota, with many calling on the club to sign the player on a permanent basis:

As some fans have mentioned, if Jota plays like that every week, then he is more than worth the £6.5m it would cost to secure his services. There are, however, doubts over the 23-year-old’s desire to stay at Parkhead on a long-term basis. Some believe he has his heart set on a return to Benfica but we shall see what decision he makes in the coming weeks.
