Liverpool are willing to offer Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic €7m (£5.98m) to €8m (£6.84m) a year if he makes the switch to Anfield, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Croatian international is out of contract in the summer and the Reds are keen on snapping up the Croatian international as a replacement for Georgino Wijnaldum.
Some supporters on Twitter believe Brozovic would be a good addition on a free transfer, while others are sceptical due to the player turning 29 in a few days’ time:
This is definitely a good one. We need more reliable midfielders

He gonna be 29. Players that matter for LFC are 24 or below that.

Brozovic would undoubtedly add some much-needed steel to Liverpool’s midfield, but it is hard to see the Merseyside club paying £130,000 a week to a player who is close to hitting 30.
Inter are reportedly still hopeful of keeping the Croatian, while both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also prepared to sign him on a pre-contract agreement. Other Premier League teams have been linked with the player in the past, including Manchester United and Chelsea.
