Crystal Palace and Valencia have both made offers to take Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek on loan for the rest of the season, according to reports.
It is believed that the Red Devils could be open to letting the Dutchman leave on a temporary basis, but they won’t include an option to buy in order to allow the club’s next manager to make a decision on the player’s future next summer.
Supporters on Twitter are mostly behind allowing van de Beek to leave, with many believing he needs game time in the Premier League to prove his worth to the club:
Can’t they have matic 🤞

Fantastic deal for all concerned. Man United fans just want to see him play. Sadly it’s gonna be in a different shirt. 🥺

Van de Beek’s United career has been rather strange. Despite paying £34.7m to sign the Dutchman in 2020, previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rarely started him, and the trend has continued under interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
Whether he can do enough on a loan spell to get himself back into United’s first-team plans for next season, we shall have to wait and see.
