Eddie Howe is on a shortlist of candidates for the Crystal Palace job, according to reports in the English media.
There have been claims and counter-claims regarding the 43-year-old’s interest in the manager’s role at Selhurst Park over the past 24 hours and fans on Twitter are concerned Celtic may lose him to the Eagles:
I think he will go there.

I’d really like to think we wouldn’t leave ourselves exposed as bad as this, it would be criminal. I think it’s signed

The only people reporting Howe to be a target Palace is Sky sports and there not that reliable. There is more evidence Howe will be the new manager then not. Celtic have had more than enough chances to squash the story and hasn. Same with Howe.

At the moment, most of the reliable journalists, including The Sun‘s Alan Nixon, are adamant that Howe doesn’t have any interest in talking to Palace.
However, the longer the delay to his Celtic appointment drags on, the more worried supporters will become. It is still believed that an official announcement will take place in the next fortnight once Bournemouth’s participation in the Championship playoffs end.
Howe reportedly wants to bring Richard Hughes, Simon Weatherstone and Stephen Purches with him to Scotland, but their involvement with the Cherries means negotiating their departures is unlikely to happen before the last game of the season.
