Celtic winger Jota made a big impression after coming on as a substitute against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup yesterday evening.
The Portuguese forward replaced the injured Mikey Johnston ten minutes into the second half and he breathed new life into the game after the Hoops had been struggling to put away their Championship opponents.
Jota caused no end of problems for the Raith defence, and he set up Giorgos Giakoumakis for his goal just 13 minutes after being sent on to the pitch. Fans on Twitter were praising the 22-year-old after the match:
Was a class above today

Supporters would dearly love for Jota to sign for the club on a permanent basis at the end of the season. Celtic do have an option to buy in their loan agreement with Benfica but it is very much down to the player.
With the performances he is putting in, though, it is probably best simply to appreciate him while he is still lighting up Celtic Park.
