Liverpool are one of a number of teams who have been linked with Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak in recent days.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have also been mentioned as potential suitors, with the 21-year-old having impressed for Sweden at the European Championships.
Some supporters on Twitter, who are keen to see the Reds strengthen their frontline this summer, are backing the club to make a move for Isak:
Get him ASAP

As a Swede I have to say im happy about this rumour. He is a very good player, still young but did very well against Spain in the Euros. Keep an eye on this guy!! Great player!!

This is a very interesting link. We can probably see a lot of shuffle between 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 based on the opponent and our players’ availability!

There are, though, a couple of issues with regards to making an offer for the Swedish forward. Sociedad are unlikely to consider bids for below his €70m (£60m) release clause, particularly if he continues to perform well at the Euros.
In addition, Isak’s former club, Borussia Dortmund, have the option to buy the striker back for only €30m (£26m) if they so wish. The buyback clause is something the Bundesliga club may look to trigger if they do lose Erling Haaland this summer.
