Liverpool have registered their interest in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, according to the Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst.
The reporter, who isn’t particularly reliable, claims that Barcelona and the Reds are keen admirers of the England international, with the forward weighing up whether to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season:
Barcelona interested in Rashford, with other clubs expressing admiration since it emerged his #mufc future was uncertain https://t.co/TCRFuJkXSw

Luckhurst does say it is very unlikely that United would allow such a move to happen and supporters on Twitter are just as sceptical:

It’s about as likely as Aliens landing on Wembley Pitch on cup final day to sing the national anthem

Rashford has also been linked with Arsenal, West Ham and Newcastle in recent weeks, along with Barca, so you would think that one of those four clubs would be a likelier destination.
The 24-year-old has been omitted from the most recent England squad, and his confidence is pretty low. His relationship with United’s fans has also become pretty toxic too so there is a big chance of him moving on this summer. A switch to Anfield, though, seems to be out of the question.
