Liverpool have some great momentum heading into the clash against Manchester United, but it must be said that Old Trafford has rarely been a happy hunting ground for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Red Devils are struggling for form so the away side will be the favourites but this is still likely to be a very tight game decided on the finest of margins.
Alisson is expected to start in goal, after a superb performance versus Atletico Madrid midweek, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson as the two fullbacks.
Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk appear to be the favoured centre-back pairing so they are likely to lineup in the middle of the defence this evening.
The fact that Naby Keita was substituted at halftime versus Atletico doesn’t bode well for the Guinean, and the fit-again Curtis Jones may take his place in midfield alongside Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.
Up front, Diogo Jota has a case for starting but Klopp does generally go with the tried and trusted front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah for the big games.
