Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra claims that there are five clubs interested in signing Porto winger Luis Diaz, including Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich.
While the 24-year-old’s release clause stands at €80m (£68m), Sierra says that all the interested teams “know” that a deal could be struck for around €50m (£42.5m):

🏴 #Liverpool (no hay oferta, de momento)

Whether that figure will tempt Jurgen Klopp’s side to make an offer for Diaz, we shall have to wait and see. The Colombian international has been in excellent form so far this campaign, racking up 12 goals in 19 appearances.
Liverpool could do with strengthening their options up front in the January transfer window, with the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane expected to miss around five matches due to the African Cup of Nations.
A £42.5m outlay would still be a sizeable investment for the Reds, though, and competition from other clubs could well complicate matters even further.
