Liverpool have made an offer for Barcelona midfielder Gavi, according to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero.
The 17-year-old has been linked with a whole host of teams, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain but Romero claims the player has received “a proposal from Liverpool” worth €6m (£5m) a year:

Gavi is believed to be very keen on staying at Barca but the La Liga club have, so far, been unable to agree a contract extension with the player.
The teenager’s current deal expires in 2023 and, with a reported release clause of €50m (£42m), it is possible that he could move clubs at the end of this season.
Whether Gavi would favour a move to Anfield, it isn’t known, but it seems the Reds have made the first move by making him a lucrative contract proposal. Other teams are likely to follow suit if it becomes more apparent that he is prepared to leave the Camp Nou.
