Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has claimed that Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is the hardest working player in the England squad.
It isn’t the first time that the Reds’ talisman has praised the teenager, having talked about him during the last international break in September, and supporters on Twitter believe it could be a ploy to persuade the midfielder into making the move to Anfield:
Hendo laying the foundation.

That’s the hint that he wants Liverpool

However, not all fans believe that Liverpool will have the funds to fight off competition from Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City:
Hendo putting all the work in only for Bellingham to sign for United or City in a few years 😴

Well he’s definitely not in the price range now.

Be at City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Bayern next season, Liverpool not even in the conversation 😭

Reports last month claimed that the Reds were prepared to pay £80m for Bellingham, although more reliable sources have suggested that the Merseyside club are only scouting the 18-year-old at this stage.
Considering Henderson has trained regularly with Bellingham, and has been impressed by what he has seen, he has no doubt communicated his thoughts both to manager Jurgen Klopp and sporting director Michael Edwards.
