Liverpool are one of four Premier League sides who have made enquiries about Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, according to Cadena SER (via AS).
The Portuguese international is unsettled at his current club and he is keen on moving either in January or at the end of the season.
Atletico Madrid president Gil Marin is believed to have told Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, that if he can bring in offers for the player then the La Liga champions would consider letting him go.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle are said to be the four teams to have registered an interest in the 22-year-old. The most lucrative offer comes from the Magpies but it is also the one that the player is least interested in.
Felix was signed from Benfica for a club-record €126m (£113m) in the summer of 2019 and Atletico will be keen to recoup as much as they can for the striker.
