Red Bull Salzburg are now demanding between €30m (£25m) and €40m (£34m) for striker Karim Adeyemi, according to reports in the Austrian media.
The German international has started the season in red-hot form, and the number of teams interested in securing his services continues to increase, with Liverpool said to be among the favourites for his signature,
Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all been credited with an interest in Adeyemi in the German press, while Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have been mentioned as potential suitors in England.
The 19-year-old has been racking up the goals at the start of this season, scoring 11 times in 16 appearances for Salzburg, and many believe he has a big future in the game.
Whether Liverpool actually have a chance of signing Adeyemi, it is open to debate, with it being claimed that the teenager would prefer a return to Germany in order to prove himself in the Bundesliga.
