Liverpool are keeping tabs on Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Catalan publication claims the France international is firmly “on their radar,” with three other teams also in the mix.
Manchester United and Juventus are said to be leading the way currently, having stayed in contact with the 23-year-old’s agent since last summer, while Paris Saint-Germain could also get involved.
All four clubs are hopeful of taking advantage of Dembele’s contract situation, with the Frenchman’s current deal expiring in 2022. Barca have yet to agree terms on an extension and they may be forced into selling if no resolution can be found.
The forward’s performances have improved under manager Ronald Koeman this season, having scored nine goals in 35 appearances, and he has stayed relatively injury-free, which has been an issue for him in recent years.
Dembele’s form had also led to links to clubs like Chelsea, but it seems that the only two English teams currently looking to snap him up are Liverpool and United.
