Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez’s situation, according to reports in Spain.
The 26-year-old is believed to be open to leaving the La Liga champions this summer, and could be available for around €60m (£52m). Supporters on Twitter are debating whether the Reds should get involved in the battle to sign the Spaniard:

Niguez did have a poor campaign by his standards and he didn’t make Spain’s European Championship squad as a result, but he does have the attributes that would fit perfectly into Jurgen Klopp’s midfield three.
He has a good work rate and stamina, whilst also having a very decent passing range. The midfielder may not come up with many goals and assists but he could do a job in the middle of the park.
Whether Liverpool will be able to sign Niguez, though, it is questionable. In addition to the two Manchester clubs, both Bayern Munich and Chelsea have been mentioned as potential suitors over the past few weeks.
