Liverpool are reportedly one of four clubs interested in signing West Ham midfielder Declan Rice next summer.
The Reds are believed to have joined the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City in the battle for the 22-year-old.
Considering that manager Jurgen Klopp is not in desperate need of another holding midfielder, and the fact that Rice could cost £100m, supporters on Twitter are very sceptical about the reports:
We don’t need him

It wouldn’t be surprising if Liverpool’s scouting department are keeping tabs on Rice, especially as he is the right age and a homegrown talent. Over the past two years, the England international has developed into an extremely effective player in the middle of the park for the Hammers.
The fact is, though, if you take Rice’s valuation into account, he would never be a realistic target for the Merseyside club. Fans are probably right to put this one down as purely paper talk.
