Lille midfielder Renato Sanches has been made available for transfer, according to reports in the French media.
Liverpool, along with Arsenal, Tottenham and Barcelona are said to be interested in the Portuguese international and supporters on Twitter think the Reds should make their move for the player:

Perfect player to replace gini, still fairly young too, reasonable price yet we won’t go for him, another opportunity we won’t take

Other than his injury record, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t get him as Gini’s replacement.

As some fans have mentioned, Sanches’s injury record is a concern, and while he did have an excellent European Championships, there is a worry that he won’t be able to produce those types of performances on a week-by-week basis.
That is the polar opposite of what Liverpool are looking for in their pursuit of a Georginio Wijnaldum replacement. The Dutchman was always available and rarely put in a display below 7/10.
While Sanches appears to be on the market and could be signed for a relatively affordable price, that doesn’t mean it would be a smart idea to snap him up, considering he would not be the ideal fit.
