The agent of Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele has revealed that the France international has still not made a decision on where he will be playing his football next season.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have been mentioned as potential destinations if he opts to leave Barca on a free transfer next month. Dembele’s representative Moussa Sissoko says all options remain on the table:
“Ousmane’s future remains open and we are not going to enter into endless speculation. When the time is right, Ousmane will take the best option. We are and have always been very respectful of all the clubs and we will continue in the same way as long as the process continues. When the time is right to make a decision, Ousmane will consider what is the best option for his future.”
Dembele has been close to a move to Old Trafford in the past, and it does appear that the Red Devils are keen on reinforcing their right flank, having been linked with bids for Leeds winger Raphinha and Ajax’s Antony in recent weeks.
However, you would have to say that Dembele is probably the least likely to arrive out of the three. The fact that the Manchester club are not in the Champions League next campaign could well be a dealbreaker for the player.
