Leicester have not found an agreement with Celtic for striker Odsonne Edouard, according to the Guardian‘s Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist claims the Foxes are now focusing their efforts on signing Patson Daka from Red Bull Salzburg instead:
To be clear. Leicester are working to complete Patson Daka deal after official bid made to Salzburg – NOT Edouard, they’ve been negotiating for the Celtic striker but no agreement.

Celtic were believed to be holding out for around £15m to £18m for Edouard. He had been a long-term target for Leicester and it remains to be seen what the future holds for the 23-year-old, with the forward having only one year remaining on his contract.
Other clubs such as Arsenal, West Ham, Brighton and Southampton have been mentioned as potential suitors but it seems not one of these teams have so far made a formal approach for Edouard.
The funds from the Frenchman’s sale could prove important in head coach Ange Postecoglou’s plans to rebuild the first-team squad, and we shall see how this latest development affects the club’s recruitment in the coming weeks.
