Celtic’s official Twitter account has released more footage of the first team in training ahead of the Europa League group stage dead rubber against Lille this evening.
Considering that the Hoops have been in awful form in recent weeks, the players look to be in good spirits and, unsurprisingly that hasn’t gone down very well with supporters on Twitter:
Why are they laughing this season isn’t funny

Someone done a keepy up!
Second one of these in the last week, yet to see any signs that the coaching staff are actually coaching.— PeejPrime (@PeejPrime) December 9, 2020
How much training does the team need to walk about the pitch? Does Barkas need training to pick the ball out the net? Hes already an expert ?? #notmuchhope

Would you not smile knowing your still getting paid regardless of how you perform? ?

Whether the players have been told to put on a brave face in front of the cameras, or spirits are still quite high in the camp, it is not known, but it would be a shock if morale hadn’t taken a hit considering recent performances.
There is nothing riding on the game tonight, but the clash against Kilmarnock on Sunday is a huge one for manager Neil Lennon and his team. They cannot afford to fall further behind Rangers and anything other than a win for the home side will not be acceptable to the fans.
