Chelsea are one of the teams who are very keen on signing Inter Milan wingback Achraf Hakimi, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.
Paris Saint-Germain have been heavily linked with the Moroccan international but the Italian newspaper insist it isn’t a one-horse race for the player’s signature.
They claim both the Blues and Bayern Munich have shown a “concrete interest” in Hakimi and it could allow Inter to auction off the 22-year-old to the highest bidder when the summer transfer window opens.
The Serie A champions need to raise funds to fill a gap in their budget, and after initially placing a €70m (£60m) price tag on the Moroccan, they have now decided that they want €80m (£69m) due to the interest being shown in the wingback.
Hakimi had an excellent season for Inter, scoring seven goals and providing 11 assists in 45 appearances. Considering how well Reece James has done, though, it would be a surprise if Chelsea shelled out so much for another player in his position.
