Edouard Mendy will line up in goal, but Reece James may be handed a start at right wingback, with Cesar Azpilicueta moving into the centre of defence. Thiago Silva could be rested, with Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger keeping their places from the Malmo game.
In midfield, Mateo Kovacic may be given a start ahead of N’Golo Kante, with the Frenchman’s game time needing to be managed. Jorginho will likely stay in the side.
