Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva was in outstanding form as he helped keep another clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Leicester at the weekend.
Despite going up against Jamie Vardy, who is the joint-second highest scorer in the Premier League this season, Silva managed to keep the 34-year-old quiet throughout the 90 minutes.
The Brazilian was also superb on the ball, delivering some great forward passes, and his overall display has been praised by a whole host of fans on Twitter:

It’s quite remarkable what Silva is managing to achieve at the moment. It’s not particularly surprising that he is still playing at 37 years of age, but the level of his performances are really something else.
The pace of the Premier League means it’s hard for even the best defenders to play into their mid-30s but Silva is doing it with ease. His footballing intelligence and outstanding natural fitness are allowing him to defy all expectations.
