Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is “highly interested” in RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku, according to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The journalist claims that the Blues may have to see off a challenge from Manchester United if they do want to sign the France international this summer:

It is true that Chelsea’s record of buying players from Germany isn’t that great, but Nkunku is someone that has also proven his worth on the European stage.
Seven goals and two assists in six Champions League appearances, combined with an additional four goals in RB Leipzig’s Europa League campaign, shows that Nkunku is capable of playing at the highest level.
Leipzig are, though, reportedly holding out for around €75m (£64m), whilst there are reports that Manchester City and Liverpool could join United in challenging Chelsea for Nkunku’s signature, so it remains to be seen where the Frenchman will end up.
