Manchester City are one of seven Premier League teams interested in signing Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The 21-year-old has been linked with Arsenal and Leeds in recent months, but Plettenberg also mentions that City and Tottenham are among the English sides keen on snapping up the defender, in addition to clubs abroad:
Update #Spence: #FCBayern is still interested! Further talks are planned this month. Player wants a decision in April/May. Price tag: €10-15m! Besides FCB, 7 top clubs from the PL are said to be courting him (including #ManCity & #COYS) + 2 🇪🇸 clubs + BVB, Leipzig. @SkySportNews

Spence has actually been on loan at Nottingham Forest this season and it has been widely reported that Boro would be prepared to offload the player.
Plettenberg suggests a fee in the region of €10m (£8.3m) to €15m (£12.5m) could be enough to secure Spence’s signature and that has also been confirmed by another reporter, Fabrizio Romano, today.
City could certainly do with adding depth at right-back. With Joao Cancelo now ostensibly used as a left-back, getting some cover for Kyle Walker is needed. Manager Pep Guardiola has resorted to using John Stones on the right-hand side at times this season.
