West Ham have delivered some very impressive performances so far in the young Premier League season. Where can they go in the table as we take a look at their next 5 League games.

So West Ham sit in 12th position after 6 PL games having won 2, drawn 2 and lost 2 games. The Hammers lost the opener to Newcastle and lost a tight match to Arsenal but pulled off impressive draws with Spurs and Man City while thumping Wolves and Leicester. You could say they have played 6 of the top 10 clubs already.

Things don’t get any easier however as next comes a trip to Anfield to face Champions Liverpool on Saturday before they face Fulham at home, followed by Sheffield United away, with home games against Aston Villa and Man United to round out their next 5 games.

Michail Antonio has revealed he has the ability to play more than just a part-time roll as the team’s front man with his bicycle kick goal vs City showing just that. Fellow forward Jarrod Bowen has also had an excellent start to the season, grabbing 3 League goals himself and the Englishman is posing a big threat for opponents having scored a brace vs Wolves and another in the Foxes win.

A nine point return from the next five matches could well be achieved despite playing two of the “big 4”. The team is well placed to make a move into the top half of the table. We expect the Hammers to give Liverpool all they can handle on the weekend as David Moyes will look to take advantage of the defensive issues caused by Fabinho, Matip and van Dijk’s injuries.

The team is looking more and imposing under the leadership of Declan Rice and a season which had low expectations may prove to be pleasantly surprising for fans.
