Chelsea may look to offer Tammy Abraham as part of their first offer for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, according to reports in the UK.

Abraham is thought to be a key target for West Ham manager David Moyes, but the 23-year-old’s £40m asking price has so far stopped them from making an official approach for the forward.

It now seems as though the England international could be used in order to lower Haaland’s asking price, which currently stands at a staggering £170m.

At this stage, it is not known whether Dortmund would be interested in taking Abraham. The Bundesliga club are believed to be looking at potential replacements for Haaland but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are keen on a part-exchange deal, which includes another striker.

The Hammers do have alternatives to Abraham, with Burnley’s Chris Wood, Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima and Blackburn’s Adam Armstrong all on the club’s radar but it appears they are not close to signing a new forward currently.
