West Ham have placed Chelsea forward Armando Broja high on their list of summer transfer targets, according to reports in the English media.
The Albanian is currently on loan at Southampton, where has scored just six goals in 31 league appearances, and supporters on Twitter are not particularly excited about the prospect of the striker moving to the London Stadium:
Why? 6 goals in 31 games for Saints. Hows that better than what we have?

He had a brief decent spell, hasn’t got a great scoring record tbh

He has done nothing since the FA Cup game.

It should be pointed out that Broja is still only 20 years of age, and many believe he does have the potential to perform at a very high level.
Southampton are said to be keen on keeping hold of him on a permanent basis, while there are rumours that Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the player.
Much will probably depend on how much Broja costs. There have been some reports that he could be available for around €40m (£34m) but such a price tag may still be too much for the Hammers.
