West Ham manager David Moyes has confirmed that Robert Snodgrass has returned to light training following a back injury.
The 32-year-old has not featured in any match since the restart and while he doesn’t expect the winger to play against Norwich today, Moyes says he is hopeful that both Snodgrass and Felipe Anderson will be available for selection pretty soon:
“We are still waiting on Robert Snodgrass, who has done a little bit of light training today. Same as Felipe Anderson but both are not available for this game. I hope that I might get them back after this game, possibly.”
Snodgrass had been one of the team’s best-performing players before the lockdown and supporters on Twitter are delighted that he could make his comeback in upcoming games:

With the Hammers’ next match after Norwich being against Watford at the London Stadium next Friday, it is possible that Snodgrass could make the bench for that game.
However, he is likely to be far from being match fit so it remains to be seen whether Moyes will opt to start him in any of the final four remaining games before the end of the season.
