After his magnificent solo goal in the 3-2 win against Wolves last night, many West Ham fans are undoubtedly wondering whether they will be able to sign Jesse Lingard on a permanent basis this summer.
Reports in the English media this morning suggest his parent club Manchester United could demand as much as £30m for the 28-year-old; a figure which may put off the Hammers.
However, after scoring six goals in his first eight appearances for the London club, supporters on Twitter think that it is a price worth paying:
That’s nothing for a proven goal scorer just sign him. We wasted enough money in the past

Lingard is in the form of his life currently, and there will likely be other clubs interested in signing the England international at the end of the season.
Considering how successful his loan spell has been at West Ham, though, you would hope that he would be keen on moving to the Irons permanently, if the club can come up with the funds.
