Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham would demand a salary of £80,000 a week if he decides to leave the Blues in the summer, according to reports in England.
West Ham are believed to be one of five clubs interested in snapping up the England international, with the likes of Leicester City, Southampton, Brighton and Aston Villa also said to be keen.
Reports suggest that Abraham’s friendship with Declan Rice could swing things in the Hammers’ favour but fans on Twitter are not sure whether the striker would merit his weekly wage:

It’s a difficult balancing act. A player like Abraham is likely to be unwilling to lower his salary expectations after previously being handed a lucrative deal by Chelsea.
West Ham would have to weigh up whether to agree to his demands and risk unsettling others in the squad who earn less. To get players who could improve the squad, though, you have to offer them a decent wage and it will be up to the board whether they think his ability merits the investment.
