West Ham are among five Premier League teams who could make a move for Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to ESPN.
The 30-year-old’s time in Italy has pretty much come to an end with Juve keen on offloading the player, following numerous injury problems since he arrived on a free transfer from Arsenal in 2019.
Newcastle, Leicester and Crystal Palace have reportedly joined the Hammers in pursuing Ramsey, while there is a possibility that Liverpool could also enter the fray, with manager Jurgen Klopp said to be a keen admirer of the midfielder.
The Welshman, who has been capped 71 times by his country, will only have eighteen months left on his contract when the January transfer window opens, and he could well be available for a modest fee.
Even so, West Ham manager David Moyes does have plenty of options in midfield, including Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma, Nikola Vlasic and Manuel Lanzini, so it would be a surprise if the London club were that interested in Ramsey.
