Philip Foden was born in Stockport, England, in 2000 and is a footballer who plays as a midfielder. He was born into a Manchester City FC fan family, he learned to kick the ball from a very young age in his living room and whenever he could he went to the Etihad Campus with his parents singing their team’s anthem, “Blue Moon”.
At the age of 8 he joined the Academy of Man City and since he joined the club the coaches and players realized Phil’s talent and quality, reason that led him to be known as the child prodigy of the Academy.
He made his debut in November 2017 for Manchester City against Feyenoord, in a Champions League match, making him the fourth youngest British player to participate in Europe’s biggest competition and the youngest English player to be a starter, at just 17 years old.
At the age of 18 he decided to become a father and together with his girlfriend Rebecca Cooke, whom he has known since high school, they have a little son who was born on January 24, 2019. His salary is 1.7 million euros per year, after signing his contract with Manchester City from December 2018 until 2024, so despite his young age he is a millionaire.
In the first two campaigns with his team he has won two Premier League titles, two Carabao Cup, one FA Cup and twice the Community Shield.
