Arsenal are weighing up a potential move for RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Austrian international has one year remaining on his contract and it is now believed that he could be offloaded for as little as €17m (£14.6m).
Sabitzer has been linked with a number of English clubs over the past year, including Tottenham and Manchester United, but most fans on Twitter are hoping the Gunners can beat their rivals to his signature:
This would be amazing. Fantastic player

It does seem like a very logical move from Arsenal, if the reporting from Italy is accurate. Manager Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen his options in midfield and Sabitzer would certainly add some creativity and guile in the middle of the park.
Last season, the 27-year-old scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 39 appearances, captaining Leipzig to a second-place finish behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table.
