Roma will only sell midfielder Ebrima Darboe if they receive a “sensational” offer for the 19-year-old, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper claims that the Gambian teenager is being tracked by both Arsenal and Tottenham after he broke into the Giallorossi’s first team this season.
Darboe made his senior debut against Sampdoria at the start of this month, before coming on as a substitute versus Manchester United in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final a few days later.
The holding midfielder has subsequently gone on to start Roma’s last three league games against Crotone, Inter Milan and in the Rome derby versus Lazio on Saturday.
Tiago Pinto, the Serie A side’s general manager, is said to be determined to keep hold of Darboe, despite the interest being shown in him, so we shall see if the Gunners or Spurs make a move for the youngster over the coming months.
