Juventus have been in contact with the entourage of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, according to reports in Italian media.
It is not the first time the 30-year-old has been linked with a move to Turin. Maurizio Sarri was keen on bringing him back to Italy when he was manager a couple of years ago, and it is believed that the club’s current sporting director Federico Cherubini is also a fan.
Jorginho will have just one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge in the summer, and it is believed that the player would be open to returning to Italy under the right conditions.
The Italian international is thought to be willing to consider a proposal from the Serie A club but only if the project is an attractive one. Juve believe that they can match the midfielder’s ambitions. They are poised to sign Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic, while they plan to make other additions in the summer.
