Rangers attacking midfielder Alex Lowry got his senior career off to an outstanding start after scoring on his debut against Stirling Albion at the weekend.

Following his impressive performance in the Scottish Cup fourth-round win, supporters on Twitter are now debating whether the 18-year-old merits another chance when the Bears take on Livingston on Wednesday evening:

It will be interesting to see whether manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst does believe Lowry deserves to be given a run-out in the league.

The teenager did look very composed on the ball and he took his goal expertly, slotting calmly passed Stirling keeper Blair Currie to open his account for the Light Blues.

However, while Lowry did look very impressive, it is one thing doing it against a League Two team and quite another when you are facing a Premiership side. We shall see if van Bronckhorst does give him another opportunity at Ibrox later this week.
