Morelos Drops Massive Transfer Hint As He Declares “Big Step” Could Happen “Soon”

Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos is hoping his impressive recent form for the Light Blues will attract interest from clubs in bigger leagues.

The Colombian international has revealed discussions did take place with Porto but the Portuguese side were unable to agree a fee with the Gers. The striker also says he remains happy at Ibrox but he is optimistic about moving to another club in the near future:

The 25-year-old has always been pretty upfront about his desire to leave Scotland to challenge himself at a higher level and, by the same measure, Rangers have been very open about the fact that they will not sell him unless a club meets their asking price.

Director of Football Ross Wilson confirmed last year that they will let Morelos leave once someone matches their valuation. After missing out on moves to Lille and Porto, it remains to be seen whether another team will step forward to snap up the Colombian.
