Peterborough and Derby County are both interested in signing Rangers centre-back George Edmundson, according to reports in the Scottish media.
Currently, the Light Blues are said to be keen on keeping hold of the 23-year-old but he is a way down the pecking order at Ibrox, and fans on Twitter expect he will be offloaded this summer if the Scottish champions receive a good enough offer:
No he’s not good enough. Let him move on and all the best to him.

He’s good enough to have a future. Will end up leaving and ending up with a big club after a couple of years

Think it was always on the cards that he would go elsewhere this summer. If the offer is a decent one we should accept it.

No unless he’s going to become a security guard we should use him to sign dembele

The likes of Connor Goldson, Filip Helander, Leon Balogun, Jack Simpson and Nikola Katic are all vying for two centre-back spots and Edmundson also has his work cut out to get back into manager Steven Gerrard‘s good books.
The Englishman was loaned out to Derby for the second half of last season after breaking strict regulations designed to protect the playing squad from picking up the virus.
Edmundson could still impress enough in preseason to get back into the first-team picture but the likelihood is that he will be sold in the coming weeks.
