There were top displays right across the pitch for Rangers in the 2-0 win over arch-rivals Celtic at the weekend, but Glen Kamara was definitely one of the standout performers.
The Finnish international glided around the pitch, making marauding runs forward as well as laying off balls to teammates with precision. However, this great piece of ball control to ghost past three Celtic players was the highlight for many:

Following Kamara’s outstanding performance at the weekend, a lot of supporters on Twitter have been praising the 24-year-old, with some fearing how long they will be able to keep hold of him:
that is filth

He really was superb yesterday. You wouldn’t describe him as a flair player but is close control is first class…?

That was brilliant, had me off my seat yesterday. If he had held onto the ball a microsecond longer the 3 Celtic players were smashing into each other. On a more serious note, Kamara is quickly turning into potentially the most expensive player in the SPL. Best £50 grand buy ever

Kamara has been linked with quite a few teams in recent months, including the likes of Arsenal, Sheffield United, West Ham, Leeds and Brighton. However, manager Steven Gerrard has insisted that the player will be staying put and they are looking at offering the midfielder a well-deserved contract extension.
After his display at the weekend, fans will be hoping that he puts pen to paper on a new deal as soon as possible.
