Rangers attacking midfielder Ianis Hagi’s fifth goal of the season sealed a narrow 1-0 win over St Johnstone last night to stretch the Light Blues’ lead over Celtic in the table to 23 points.
The Romanian international has been in fine form this campaign, having also contributed 11 assists in all competitions, and supporters on Twitter have been praising his recent performances:

Some forget his age! Let’s hope we have him for a few years because there’s an exceptional player here developing his skills to match his vision, Scotland is a hard league to play in and will only make him better??

Hagi’s form did dip somewhat in late November to mid-December but he sprang to life again over the festive period and he has been a regular starter since the turn of the year.
At 22 years of age, there is certainly more to come from the playmaker and, with manager Steven Gerrard on hand to help guide him, it will be exciting to see how far he can go.
Some did question the £3m that the Light Blues paid for Hagi last summer but he has certainly begun to repay that transfer fee with his displays in recent months.
