Arsenal are considering making a move for Ajax fullback Noussair Mazraoui, according to DM Sport.
The Moroccan-based sport news outlet claims that the Gunners have been tracking the 23-year-old as they look to strengthen their options at right-back:
✈️ Arsenal intéressé par Noussair Mazraoui !
En effet, le club de Londres souhaiterait s’attacher les services du jeune joueur marocain qui est en instance de départ du côté de l’Ajax ! ?⚪️
Alors Mazraoui, bientôt gunners ou pas ? ? pic.twitter.com/MC7aInS1vg

He looks small in stature, they will bully him

Typical Arsenal, going after players that aren’t known just so it won’t look like they didn’t sign anyone. I pity those fans hoping we Arsenal can get anywhere with such breed of players

Mazraoui’s injury record is a concern. The Moroccan international started just 16 league games last season but it must be said that his lengthiest spell out of the side was due to a freak eye injury.
While he hasn’t played a great deal over the past 18 months, he could well be a smart solution as Arsenal seek a replacement for Hector Bellerin at right-back. It is believed that the Spaniard will be leaving the Emirates this summer, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Betis having been tipped as potential destinations.
