Arsenal are interested in FC Basel striker Arthur Cabral, according to Jeunesfooteux.com. The French website claims that the Brazilian is being considered as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 23-year-old is in outstanding form, having scored 27 goals in all competitions this season, and he has been attracting interest from other clubs such as West Ham and Barcelona.
Remarkably, though, the Gunners are also thought to be targeting another player called Arthur, who is currently playing for Serie A side Juventus.
We reported on the club’s interest in the Brazilian international midfielder last month but another website, Calciomercato.com, have also now backed up those rumours.
The Italian site reports that both Arsenal and Sevilla have made enquiries about Arthur, who is believed to be unhappy about his lack of game time at Juve. His agent Federico Pastorello is keen to find the 25-year-old a new club during the January transfer window.
