Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe claims he would be happy to stay at the Emirates for the rest of his professional career.
The 21-year-old is now a key first-team player, and when asked whether he feels he could be a “one-club man,” Smith Rowe replied:
“I hope so, I definitely hope so. If Arsenal want me for the rest of my career, then I am going to stay here forever. It is always difficult [to stay at one club for your career], but for me personally, I’d love to be here forever.”
Supporters on Twitter were delighted with Smith Rowe’s response, although some believe his remarks are simply the innocence of youth:
Love him even more

There was a lot of speculation over the midfielder’s future last summer. Aston Villa were reportedly very interested in the player but he eventually signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until 2026.
After being given the iconic no.10 shirt as well, it’s clear that Smith Rowe intends to build on the excellent start he has made to his Arsenal career.
Injuries had plagued him somewhat in his teenage years but since he overcame a shoulder problem at the start of last season, he has been pretty much available for every match.
